28 African Countries And Still Growing
I had to pinch myself to believe what the Employ Africa team have built and achieved over the last 8 years.
We now cover 28 African countries with offices in Durban and Cape Town, South Africa, Maputo in Mozambique, Nairobi in Kenya, N’djamena in Chad, Windhoek in Namibia, Abidjan in the Ivory Coast, Libreville in Gabon and Sfax in Tunisia.
We have grown and developed amazing relationships with our local partners in Angola, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Ethiopia, Equatorial Guinea, Ghana, Guinea (Conakry), Lesotho, Liberia, Malawi, Mali, Mauritius, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda.
Our African Payroll services department now manage over 2500 employees over 18 different African countries. The endless late nights and discussions with all our local accounting partners in the different countries has helped us navigate the great complexities and challenges that one would face when payrolling expatriates and locals in these countries.
Our contract management services team are a force to be reckoned with! We have only received praise from our 500 plus contractors in Africa for our Contract management services team. They are literally available 24/7, to assist contractors who have missed or had connecting flights cancelled at 02h00. This requires us to get them into a hotel room to rest and then finding the next available flight out of some very remote areas.
Their networks within their respective countries has been a testament to their results when it comes to an expatriates immigrations requirements, albeit an emergency visa for a contractor to get in country to repair a mechanical failure causing project delays or the turnaround time and precision in which work permits are attained. This has definitely put our team at the forefront of our industry with Africa, thus bringing us ever closer to our Vision, whereby we strive to be the globally preferred provider of Manpower project solutions in Africa.
On a different topic, I am always asked the differences between PEO’s and EOR’s. Working within our industry for so many years, we tend to easily forget how confusing all the various acronyms and names can be.
In the next newsletter I have agreed to write a more informative piece and as such we will dive into these differences as well as some other various acronyms and names within our industry and supply you with enough information that will better enable you to decide what is the best option for your business;
PEO vs EOR vs LABOUR BROKER vs CONTRACT MANAGEMENT vs HRO vs UMBRELLA
Until then take care,
